Training courses
This is a one day training course for teachers and staff providing the knowledge confidence, skills, insights, and understanding to enable them to support pupils who have experienced bereavement and loss.
It is hoped that after the course attendees will then also be able to support and advise colleagues in this area.
Based on over twenty years of research, including 'Operation Iceberg' a doctorate project at the University of York and described in the books 'Understanding children's experience of parental bereavement', and 'Responding to loss and bereavement in schools'.
